Rubicon Organics’ mission is to grow the best cannabis on earth and for the earth and today we are doing just that out of our state-of-the art greenhouse facility located in Delta, B.C. We are growing and expanding quickly, with national distribution across Canada with 5 cannabis brands, as well as upcoming export partnerships. We are launching 20-30 new products each quarter as we bring exciting new genetics and extracted products to market in Canada. We are also excited to bring our portfolio of super premium organic cannabis brands to the international market. 
We are looking for a talented IT Specialist who wants to leave a tangible legacy: 
The IT Specialist at Rubicon Organics will be the first point of contact for IT incidents and requests across Rubicon Organics greenhouses, offices, and remote staff. In this growth opportunity, you will leverage your service mindset and problem-solving approach to develop strong relationships across the business and ensure end users have hardware and productivity tools to enable their productivity.  
  • Ensure that all technology services are delivered effectively and efficiently 
  • Provide exceptional support to our people across email, phone, and face-to-face communications. Use our ticketing system to triage and resolve all technology related incidents and requests within our defined service level agreements (SLA’s) 
  • Identify reoccurring incidents and requests, proactively elevating reoccurring issues while enabling the business to maximize the benefit and understanding of the technology used 
  • Manage and support the existing end user hardware and software environment with a proactive approach 
  • Perform updates, upgrades, and enhancements, using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune, Jamf, Mosyle. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for end users and the IT team 
  • Ensure our people have the right tools to perform their work optimally 
  • Assist with developing and executing policies, procedures, and best practices to meet the needs of the growing and fast paced organization 
  • Troubleshoot endpoint and system management problems 
  • An enthusiastic approach to taking on new opportunities and challenges 
  • Customer service/support experience 
  • Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in 
  • Microsoft/Lenovo/Dell/Apple Hardware 
  • Windows 10/11, MacOS, Linux, & Windows Server (2019, 2022) 
  • Office 365 
  • Publie Cloud (Azure/AWS) 
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) 
  • Jamf/Addigy/Mosyle  
  • Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, Netgate/PfSense, & Ubiquiti Hardware 
  • Powershell Scripting/Automation 
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

A vehicle and driver’s license are assets for this role with limited transit accessibility to our Delta Facility. Some travel to our downtown Vancouver office may be required.  

*Please note that while this role does call out having experience/certs in list of various areas, it is not a strict requirement. If willing to learn, have customer service experience, and continue education through certs from Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, CompTIA, Netgate (company paid) you will be a great fit.
